MOPPETS

What is MOPPETS?

Let us take a moment to explain our MOPPETS program. While mothers attend the MOPS meeting, the children enjoy a program designed to provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.  Each teacher has been carefully selected with high standards and background checks.  Children are divided into rooms by appropriate age groups.

A few guidelines to follow…

• When possible, please R.S.V.P. for MOPS meetings one week in advance or let Lauri know as soon as possible if you can make it.  This helps the nursery to be adequately staffed.  The nursery is staffed by paid church staff who are members of the church and have been fully background checked.  

• MOPS meetings start at 9:30a.m. and the nursery is open for drop-off beginning at 9:15a.m.  Please pick up your children immediately following the close of meetings.

• Nursery rooms are divided by age groups and childcare is provided for children from birth to age 5 (Kindergarten).  Older homeschooled children may stay in the nursery if needed.  Please bring something age appropriate for them to do (homework, book, games, etc.).

• Please bring for each child, a change of clothes, diapers, wipes, bottles, sippy cups, snack, pull-ups, etc.  

• Please label all belongings with the child’s name.

• Pull-ups are required for children still potty training.  Please no cloth diapers.

• Snacks will be provided (goldfish, cookies, crackers, juice, water). You may provide a specific snack for your child.  Please no jar feedings for babies, if possible.

• Volunteers are needed for the nursery.  Volunteers must be Cinco Baptist Church members.  Contact Dawn Hutchison if interested.
